WHO WE ARE
Welcome to the website of the most popular evening pastime in the counties of Leitrim, Mayo, Roscommon and Sligo.  The players of the Game of Bridge would like to tell you about our activities.
Our main purpose is to provide an occasion for socialising for our members. Members come from every walk of life. We meet in pleasant surroundings where there usually are facilities for a pint or a glass of wine or a coffee. Of course people like to win their game of cards, but the main point of the evening is to make friends with people you might otherwise never know, to have a laugh and a chat. There is no “stake money” at our bridge tables. There is usually a contribution of 5 euro to defray the expenses of the club. Surplus funds are devoted to occasional nights when there is a game for prizes and to “party” nights.
Why don’t you get involved in this most economical of pastimes?

HOW TO JOIN
There is a bridge club in almost every town in the region. Secretaries and their phone numbers are listed here. Click on secretaries to find them.  Your local secretary will direct you to classes that will be convenient to where you live. Basic bridge is easy to learn. Lessons will be listed on this website as we are informed about them. After 8 to 10 lessons you will be able to join a club where beginners are welcome and are helped to develop their game. Almost all of us play a basic game.
Why don’t you open a new door in your life today?

WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE NATIONAL SCENE?
